The Mission Storage Bed is a proper grown-up bed that does not compromise on storage. It has a tall vertical slatted headboard and a solid tongue-and-groove panelled footboard, giving it a classic, well-built look that works just as well in a modern bedroom as it does in a more traditional one. The warm waxed finish brings out the natural character of the solid pine, while the white finish gives a clean, fresh look that suits most bedroom styles.
What really sets this bed apart is the six large drawers built into the base, three on each side. They sit flush with the frame and each one has a smooth recessed bar handle, keeping the overall look neat and uncluttered. It is a generous amount of storage that can easily replace a separate chest of drawers, which makes a real difference in a bedroom where space is at a premium.
The frame is made from solid pine throughout and feels reassuringly solid once it is put together. It takes a standard 5FT King mattress and arrives flat-packed with all the hardware and clear step-by-step instructions included. Certified to BD-93571-S2 standard. Mattress sold separately.
