The Derby is a solid pine bed frame with a painted white finish and a classic Shaker-style design. It works well in kids rooms, spare rooms, and main bedrooms without looking out of place in any of them. The headboard stands 94 cm tall and gives proper support when sitting up in bed. The footboard sits low at 44 cm, which keeps the room feeling open rather than boxed in.
A slatted base runs the full length of the frame. It supports the mattress evenly across the whole surface, stops soft spots from forming over time, and lets air circulate underneath to keep things fresh. The frame is compatible with all mattress types including memory foam, pocket spring, open coil, and orthopaedic.
The Derby comes in four UK standard sizes. All sizes arrive in 2 boxes with every fixing included. Assembly is straightforward and most people have it done in under an hour with standard household tools. Mattress is not included.
