The Surrey Triple Sleeper is a really sensible buy if you need to sleep more than one child in a room without taking over the whole space. It puts a 3FT single top bunk above a 4FT6 double bottom bunk, giving you sleeping space for up to three people in one solid, well-built frame. It comes in both white and satin grey, so it fits into most kids bedroom styles without any fuss.
The frame is made from solid pine throughout with chunky 5cm corner posts that give it a proper, reassuring feel once it is put together. The top bunk has full-length guardrails on both sides to keep sleepers safe through the night, and the ladder can be set up on either the left or right side to suit your room layout. The treads are anti-slip and all edges are rounded, so there are no sharp corners to worry about. The top bunk supports up to 100kg and the bottom double bunk handles up to 150kg, making it suitable for older children and lighter adults too. There is 24cm of clearance underneath the bottom bunk, which is handy for storage baskets or under-bed drawers.
It is certified to EN 747-1&2:2012+A1:2015 bunk bed safety standards, comes with a 1 year frame warranty, and all the hardware and tools needed for assembly are included in the box. Please note the recommended maximum mattress thickness is 12cm for the top bunk. Mattresses are sold separately.
